TechFlow news: Klaytn, the blockchain platform under South Korean internet giant Kakao, has released Klaytn v1.10.0, which includes the "Kore" hard fork upgrade. The hard fork incorporates the finalized on-chain governance voting mechanism (KIP-81), a new GC reward structure (KIP-82), and EVM modifications.
This hard fork will be applied to the Baobab and Cypress networks according to their respective block numbers. The upgrade on Baobab is scheduled for block height 111736800 (approximately 9:00 AM Beijing time on January 10, 2023), while the timing for Cypress will be announced in the next version (v1.10.x) in March 2023.
