TechFlow News, December 23 — The Graph, a decentralized indexing protocol, announced it has migrated its billing contract to Arbitrum to reduce gas fees and improve transaction speed. The Graph protocol continues to operate on the Ethereum mainnet. Now, user payments for subgraph queries will be processed on the Arbitrum network.
Users can still add GRT to their billing balance on the Ethereum mainnet. The billing contract will bridge GRT from the balance to Arbitrum automatically, without requiring users to perform manual bridging.
Earlier, on October 10, The Graph released its 2023 roadmap, which outlined major updates including phasing out hosted services, launching Firehose and Substreams, and migrating to the Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution Arbitrum.Original link
