TechFlow news — Dan Berkovitz, General Counsel of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), who had close ties with SBF and FTX, announced he will leave his position on January 31 next year.
According to the Washington Examiner, in October 2021, SBF, FTX General Counsel Ryne Miller, and FTX President Brett Harrison dined together with Berkovitz at a high-end restaurant.
Michael Chamberlain, director of Protect the Public’s Trust, said, "Shortly before SBF's collapse and a series of fraud allegations emerged, SBF and his associates were clearly courting a potential regulator, attempting to influence regulation in their favor."Source
