TechFlow, according to PeckShield monitoring data, 11,184.18 PAXG tokens previously transferred from the FTX hacker address were destroyed, after which Paxos minted the same amount of PAXG and sent them to a new address.
Twitter users commented that this move may not be conducted by the hacker, but rather an action by Paxos to burn PAXG held in the hacker's wallet and mint an equivalent amount into its treasury wallet.
As previously reported, PeckShield data showed that 11,184.18 PAXG (worth about $20 million) were transferred from an FTX hacker address labeled "FTX Accounts Drainer" to a null address and subsequently burned in the Paxos Treasury. Source link
