TechFlow, BSC-based stablecoin project Helio Protocol announced on its social media that all users' staked BNB remains secure. The team is in close communication with Ankr to discuss a restart plan for aBNBc and will make an announcement soon. For security reasons, all Helio functions will be temporarily suspended. Users are advised not to trade HAY until further official notice to avoid potential losses.
Earlier reports indicated that an attacker spent 10 BNB to purchase 183,884.92 aBNBc tokens from 1inch (due to a multi-trillion token minting error), then exchanged these aBNBc tokens via Helio Protocol for 191,130.04 HBNB. The attacker subsequently collateralized the HBNB to borrow 16,444,740.14 HAY, which was then swapped through 1inch for 15,504,986.94 BUSD, causing severe de-pegging of HAY.Source link
