TechFlow news — Igloo, a blockchain-based insurtech startup, has announced an additional investment of $27 million, bringing its Series B funding round to a total of $46 million. The round saw participation from InsuResilience Investment Fund II, backed by Germany’s development bank KfW, along with WAM, Finnfund, La Maison, and Cathay Innovation.
Founded in 2016, Igloo offers blockchain-powered insurance products that use smart contracts to automatically calculate claims payouts. The company has already rolled out its solutions in Vietnam's market.Original link
