TechFlow reports that Emurgo, the development company behind Cardano, plans to launch USDA, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, in the first quarter of 2023. The stablecoin will be fully backed by fiat currency and compliant with regulatory requirements. USDA is part of Anzens, an Emurgo product designed to offer users a range of financial services and Cardano-based asset products, including lending services, crypto-backed card payments, and a bridge between traditional markets and DApps.
USDA will be launched on the Anzens platform, where users will be able to tokenize U.S. dollars into USDA via credit/debit cards, wire transfers, or by exchanging ADA for U.S. dollars.Original link
