TechFlow News — Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said on social media, "Anything centralized is inherently risky by default. The ethos of DeFi and self-custody served us very well this week, but remember, there are still risks—bugs in smart contract code."
Vitalik added, "It's important to defend against such risks—keep code simple, conduct audits, formal verification, and adopt defense-in-depth strategies. My biggest concern is that two years from now we might have $10 billion secured in ZK-rollups, and it gets hacked due to a bug in the circuit constraint code or its surrounding EVM wrapper. For the latter, keep things simple and apply formal verification."Original link
