TechFlow news — according to its official Twitter, Maker has announced the launch of Maker Teleport, an infrastructure designed to enable multi-chain transfers for DAI. Built by the MakerDAO Engineering Core Unit, Maker Teleport's deployment is divided into two phases: fast withdrawals and full Layer2-to-Layer2 transfers. The fast withdrawal functionality has now been implemented, allowing users to instantly transfer DAI from Layer2 to Layer1.
Currently, fast withdrawals are live on Arbitrum and Optimism, each with a debt ceiling of 1 million DAI. Maker stated that in future upgrades, users will be able to instantly transfer DAI between Layer2 networks.
Meanwhile, Maker has announced a grant program offering up to 10,000 DAI for developers interested in integrating Maker Teleport. Original link
