TechFlow news — Miles Jennings, General Counsel and Head of Decentralization at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), stated that Ripple will not prevail in its lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), given Ripple's sale of XRP directly to retail investors. Jennings explained that according to the SEC’s argument, this fact implies that XRP’s value depends on Ripple’s actions, unlike in a decentralized ecosystem, leading him to have "not much hope" for Ripple winning the case. Currently, XRP price has dropped to $0.37, down 14.6% over the past 24 hours, and its market capitalization has been surpassed by Binance USD.Source
