TechFlow news, fintech and software company Fordefi announced it has raised $18 million in seed funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Electric Capital, Alameda Research, Jump Crypto, Castle Island, Pantera Capital, Illuminate Financial, PayPal Alumni Fund, Nima Capital, Digital Currency Group, Defiance Capital, and StarkWare.
As previously reported, Josh Schwartz, former executive at BitGo and Curv, has launched Fordefi, a new cryptocurrency wallet security company. Fordefi offers a wallet platform enabling institutions to participate across various blockchains. The company says it uses secure multi-party computation (MPC) to distribute users' private keys in a way that is harder to compromise, and will allow users to automate their interactions with blockchains and smart contracts.Original link
