TechFlow News — On November 1, according to a tweet by Dylan Leclair, co-founder of 21stParadigm, Nikolai Muchgian, the 29-year-old former co-founder of MakerDAO and architect of DAI, was found dead from drowning at Condado Beach in Puerto Rico. Three days prior to his death, Nikolai had posted information on social media regarding U.S. law enforcement and stated that he had received threats.
MakerDAO co-founder Rune expressed his condolences on Twitter: "Nikolai was one of the very few early figures in Ethereum and smart contracts who could foresee the possibility of smart contract hacks and invented the security-oriented smart contract design methodology we know today.
