TechFlow news — Protocol Labs, the development team behind Filecoin, has announced the formation of the Decentralized Storage Alliance, with founding members including computer hardware giant Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), storage manufacturer Seagate, and global accounting and consulting firm Ernst & Young (EY).
Co-launched with the Filecoin Foundation, the Decentralized Storage Alliance aims to establish development standards to help decentralized storage solutions meet enterprise customer needs, including enabling data centers to more easily join decentralized networks.
