TechFlow News — According to Yahoo Finance, Airwallex, a fintech company based in Australia and a Ripple partner, has announced the completion of a new $100 million funding round at a valuation of $5.5 billion. The round was participated by Tencent Holdings Limited, Sequoia Capital China, Solasta Ventures, HostPlus (an Australian industry superannuation fund), and a North American pension fund.
To date, Airwallex has raised over $900 million in total funding. Airwallex enables its customers to issue and pay international invoices and bills through its payment platform.
