TechFlow News — According to on-chain data, the final Proof-of-Work (PoW) block on Ethereum was minted into an NFT by the NFT project Vanity Block. The entire block contains only one transaction—the minting of the Vanity Block NFT—at a cost of 30 ETH. The NFT is currently being auctioned on OpenSea.
Vanity Blocks inscribed a quote from American ethnobotanist Terence McKenna in the final block: "Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to help you overcome insurmountable obstacles. Pursue your unfinished dreams—cosmic forces will never hinder your progress. This is the secret." Vanity Block aims to turn complete Ethereum blocks into NFTs, creating collectible Ethereum block memorabilia.
