TechFlow news — On September 8, Delphi Digital released a long-form article titled "Finding a home for labs," stating that Delphi Labs is Delphi's protocol research and development division, with a team of around 50 people. Previously, this team focused on researching and developing protocols on Terra. After the collapse of Terra, Delphi Labs faced a critical decision about where to focus the efforts of its builders.
After extensive research and comparison across numerous protocols, the team has decided to concentrate its development efforts on the Cosmos ecosystem. Delphi Labs stated, “We believe this space will increasingly split into a mesh network composed of general-purpose smart contract chains and specialized application-specific chains connected via trust-minimized bridges. In such a world, multiple DeFi hubs will emerge, each with its own ecosystem and community. Well-architected DeFi dApps deployed across multiple platforms will benefit from liquidity and other network effects. We believe Cosmos is best positioned to benefit from the growing number of application chains and support the most advanced cross-chain architectures.”Original link
