TechFlow news — Ant Group's digital collectibles platform, Whale Explorer (Jingtan), has launched a physical customization feature on its app. Users can now one-click customize their digital collectibles into physical items, providing IP holders with digital operation tools. Over 20 digital collectibles are currently supported for instant customization. In the first phase, Whale Explorer has partnered with seven IPs to offer this benefit for more than 20 digital collectibles. Previously, Whale Explorer piloted this feature with Hangzhou Wanshili Silk, which helped drive an increase in the latter’s online custom sales.
Reportedly, digital collectibles previously issued on Whale Explorer from IPs such as China Aerospace, The Great Wall's Thirteen Passes, Huangshan Mountain, Longmen Grottoes, Wudang Mountains, and Haier Brothers are all included in this launch. Users can open the "Collectibles" page in the Whale Explorer app, locate items marked with the "Physical Customization" tag, and choose to pay for customized T-shirts or decorative paintings, with a production time of 1–3 days. According to the page description, additional product categories and customization options will continue to be expanded in the future.
