TechFlow news — In response to "Minecraft banning the use of NFTs or other blockchain technologies in-game," the NFT Worlds team posted on its Discord channel stating that it is currently communicating with relevant members of the Minecraft team to understand the reasons behind the ban and to seek continued operation on the Minecraft platform.
If communication fails to achieve the desired outcome, NFT Worlds is also considering the following alternative plans:
1. Migrating the project to a game engine or platform similar to Minecraft;
2. Transforming into a GameFi platform providing technical services for game developers or studios.
Earlier news reported that Minecraft updated its usage guidelines, announcing a ban on integrating blockchain technology within Minecraft clients and server applications, as well as prohibiting the creation of NFTs related to any in-game content, including worlds, skins, character items, or other mods.
