TechFlow news, on July 18, the Netherlands Central Bank (DNB) disclosed that in April it imposed an administrative fine of €3,325,000 on Binance Holdings Limited for providing cryptocurrency services in the Netherlands without the legally required registration with DNB.
Binance has a large number of customers in the Netherlands. The DNB reduced the fine by 5%, partly because Binance had already submitted a registration application and maintained relatively transparent business operations throughout the process. The registration is currently under review by DNB.
