TechFlow news — According to Forbes, Singaporean pop star JJ Lin has joined a new NFT community called ARC, co-founded by Kiat Lim, son of Singaporean billionaire and "stockbroker king" Peter Lim, and Elroy Cheo, scion of the family behind palm oil supplier giant Mewah International.
Launched in January this year, ARC claims its goal is not to replace Web2 with Web3, but to bridge the two, calling itself Web2.5. Members can enjoy immersive experiences at physical ARC venues called Playgrounds, while also using the ARC app to access membership via NFTs or other unique digital assets. Prospective users must first fill out an application on ARC’s website, join the whitelist, and hold Pyxis (ARC’s token) along with an ARC NFT.
Previously, Kiat Lim also partnered with his father to launch ZujuGP, a football-based digital community endorsed by Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
