TechFlow News — According to BusinessWire, decentralized identity platform Trinsic has announced the completion of an $8.5 million seed funding round led by Georgian, with participation from Jon Gelsey (founding CEO of Auth0), Frederic Kerrest (Executive Vice Chairman, Co-Founder and COO of Okta), Kickstart Seed Fund, Founder's Co-op, Osage Venture Partners, Forward VC, and other angel investors. This marks the largest seed round to date in the decentralized identity vertical. Trinsic leverages decentralized technology and self-sovereign identity principles to help developers build user-controlled identity infrastructure faster, easier, and more reliably. Its customers include dozens of banks, insurance companies, automotive brands, government agencies, and startups.
