TechFlow news, according to a tweet from Twitter user @TheJunonaut, the Osmosis chain halted and underwent emergency maintenance due to a critical vulnerability in Osmosis that could potentially drain all liquidity pools. Anyone could add liquidity to any pool and receive an extra 50% of tokens when removing it.
In addition, the Twitter user discovered that one address has already exploited this vulnerability repeatedly, transferring approximately 75,000 ATOM from Osmosis.
Earlier report indicated that the Osmosis chain had stopped and entered emergency maintenance, with expectations for the Osmosis blockchain to be back online within a few hours.
