TechFlow news — MakerDAO has announced that Maker is now connected to StarkNet, an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution. The StarkNet DAI bridge is live, enabling DAI transfers between StarkNet and Ethereum. This marks the first phase of MakerDAO's integration with StarkNet.
Earlier in April, MakerDAO announced its protocol would be deployed on StarkNet. The integration will proceed in four phases: Phase one introduces a simple token bridge for DAI transfers; Phase two, to be implemented in Q2 of this year, will enable fast withdrawals from L2 to L1; Phase three, in Q3, will support L2-to-L2 transfers; finally, in Q4 2022 or Q1 2023, MakerDAO will deploy the full multi-collateral DAI (MCD) system on StarkNet.
