TechFlow news — On May 11, FTX US announced the appointment of Marissa MacDonald, former Chief Compliance Officer at Fidelity, as Chief Compliance Officer of FTX Trust Company, LLC. FTX US has submitted an application for a trust charter to the New York Department of Financial Services and is currently awaiting review and approval. Upon approval, it will be able to offer services in New York State. As part of its active expansion of compliant operations in the U.S., FTX US aims to leverage Marissa MacDonald’s extensive professional experience.
Marissa MacDonald is a seasoned compliance professional. During her 14 years at Fidelity Investments, she served as Vice President of the Ethics Office, overseeing the company's political law and entertainment compliance programs, and led its global anti-corruption initiatives. She first joined Fidelity’s compliance division in 2011, leading various private equity business initiatives. Most recently, she served as Chief Compliance Officer for Fidelity Digital Assets, providing enterprise-grade digital asset solutions to institutional investors.
