TechFlow News — According to official updates, on May 3, cryptocurrency exchange OKX announced a long-term partnership with McLaren Racing, becoming the title sponsor of the McLaren Formula 1 team and McLaren's "Shadow Project" esports team, as well as its exclusive crypto platform partner.
At the 2022 Miami Grand Prix taking place on May 8, the OKX brand will be prominently featured across the McLaren team, including on the McLaren MCL36 F1 car, race suits and helmets of renowned McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo, as well as on the apparel of both the Formula 1 and esports teams.
McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown said: "We are thrilled to announce this significant partnership with OKX ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. OKX is a brand deeply established in the cryptocurrency space, and together we will collaborate to deliver unique experiences for our fans."
It is understood that this is not the first time McLaren Racing has partnered with a tech company—Google also announced its collaboration with the McLaren team in March this year.
