TechFlow news — According to official announcements, Yuga Labs' new project Otherside has canceled its Dutch auction. Otherdeed NFTs will now be sold at a fixed price of 305 ApeCoin, with a total of 55,000 Otherdeed NFTs available for purchase by KYC-verified wallets. To ensure broad distribution and reduce the likelihood of large-scale Gas Wars, each wallet will initially be limited to minting two NFTs at launch. As minting progresses, the number of NFTs each wallet can mint will increase.
On April 26, Otherside announced it would adopt a Dutch auction model, accepting only ApeCoin as payment. BAYC and MAYC holders will be able to claim their NFTs within 21 days after the auction without requiring KYC verification, though KYC is required to participate in the auction mint.
