TechFlow News — Metaverse company Pocket Worlds has announced the expansion of its metaverse ecosystem to an Avalanche subnet, with its Highrise World project set to launch on the subnet this year. Pocket Worlds stated that the Avalanche subnet offers high speed, security, scalability, and EVM compatibility, enabling the company to use its native token RISE for gas fees. The token will also be usable for staking, governance participation, and purchasing in-game items.
Notably, the metaverse game Highrise currently boasts 2 million monthly active users and allows users to create their own avatars, clothing, and metaverse environments in an MMO-style format.
