TechFlow news, according to China International Online, at the China Metaverse Industry Development Summit Forum held yesterday in Chongqing, the Chongqing Municipal Big Data Administration and Yubei District jointly launched the Chongqing Metaverse Pilot Demonstration Zone. This marks a significant step forward for Chongqing in accelerating the layout of its metaverse industry cluster and seizing early opportunities and leadership in the metaverse sector.
In addition, the conference released the "Yubei District Metaverse Industry Innovation and Development Action Plan (2022–2024)", under which Yubei District will focus on building industrial clusters in digital twins, haptic rendering, intelligent algorithms, e-sports, digital content, flexible sensing, and smart terminals, accelerating the development of next-generation immersive, human-like, and empathetic spatial internet technologies.
