TechFlow news — NFT lending protocol MetaLend has announced a $5 million seed funding round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Collab+Currency and Ancient8. The new funds will be used for product development, hiring, and marketing efforts.
MetaLend is currently in testing phase and plans to publicly launch in Q2. The protocol will initially integrate Axie Infinity and aims to onboard a second game (based on Polygon) within the next two to three months.
Notably, MetaLend co-founder Sudjeev Singh previously led growth and marketing at electric scooter company Bird, while co-founder Nikhil Bhardwaj managed a major engineering team at smart home security company Ring.
