TechFlow news — Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin claimed his influence over Ethereum is "continuously decreasing," stating that he has less influence today than he did six months ago. "I feel like my influence over Ethereum diminishes every six months. I have less now than I did six months ago. Six months ago, I had less than a year ago. A year ago, I had less than 18 months ago," Buterin said in a recent interview with American tech entrepreneur and investor Naval Ravikant.
He further noted that there are many people within the Ethereum community whom even he must "convince to move in a particular direction." "If you look at some of the Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) I've personally promoted, some didn't even succeed. So for many of them, you really have to work extremely hard to address everyone's concerns," he said. When asked about the biggest initiative he pushed for that was never adopted, Buterin cited EIP-4488, saying it "would be on Ethereum today" if he had more control.Navigating Web3 tides with focused insights
