TechFlow news, according to The Wall Street Journal citing sources, financial payments company Bolt Financial is acquiring cryptocurrency services startup Wyre Payments for approximately $1.5 billion.
Founded by Ryan Breslow in 2014, Bolt Financial specializes in one-click checkout solutions for merchants and has raised around $1.3 billion in venture capital funding, with a valuation of approximately $11 billion. Wyre provides retail and commercial customers with services to exchange and trade cryptocurrencies between banks and crypto wallets, holding money transmission licenses in 27 U.S. states.
