TechFlow news — NFT marketplace Opensea has revealed in a tweet video that it is preparing to support Solana-based NFTs. This means Solana will become the fourth blockchain network supported by OpenSea, following Ethereum, Polygon, and Klaytn.
In a blog post early today, Opensea also announced plans to build an NFT marketplace on Solana and will support the Metaplex collection standard at launch, establishing a standardized format for NFT series on Solana. Existing Solana NFT projects will need to use specific tools to migrate their collections to the latest version of this standard. Once completed, NFT listings will automatically appear on OpenSea. However, the blog post has since been removed.
Previously, OpenSea had already begun supporting SOL as a unit for displaying NFT prices.
