TechFlow news — On March 15, ConsenSys, an Ethereum infrastructure development company, announced the completion of a $450 million Series D funding round, achieving a valuation of $7 billion. The round was led by ParaFi Capital, with new investors including Temasek, SoftBank Vision Fund II, Microsoft, Anthos Capital, Sound Ventures, and CV Ventures. Existing investors participating included Third Point, Marshall Wace, TRUE Capital Management, and UTA VC.
ConsenSys stated that proceeds from this funding round will be converted into ETH to rebalance the ratio between ETH and dollar-denominated assets according to its treasury strategy. As a pioneer in building foundational software for Web3, ConsenSys aims to unlock the collaborative power of communities by making DAOs, NFTs, and DeFi universally accessible, easy to use, and simple to build upon.
