TechFlow news — Sotheby’s has announced it will auction a game-worn jersey of the late Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Kobe Bryant, along with its NFT version, starting at 5:01 AM CST on February 23 (7:01 PM Beijing time). The jersey was worn by Kobe when he scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors in 2006. The NBA’s official authentication agency has verified the authenticity of the jersey, and photos match the item. Other clothing worn by Kobe has not yet been publicly auctioned.
The Kobe game-worn jersey will be sold as a physical item, accompanied by an NFT animation of his 81-point game. The starting bid for the jersey is $200,000. Sotheby’s will accept final payments in ETH, BTC, USDC, and fiat currency. (Original link)
