1. Crypto-natives as a significant consumer group. Focus on projects that help companies earn money from crypto users.
2. The corporatization of DAOs and the DAO-ification of corporations. Pay attention to (great) DAOs themselves and DAO infrastructure.
3. The rise of Web3 communities in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Focus on community-based or gateway projects in these regions.
4. Competitors and disruptors to OpenSea. Watch direct competitors such as Rarible and LooksRare, upcoming platforms not yet launched, other blockchain-based alternatives, and vertical-specific platforms expanding into broader marketplaces—such as SuperRare and KnownOrigin, which are becoming more platform-oriented.
5. Music NFTs. Focus on high-quality music NFT platforms like Pianity.
6. DeFi experiments by Web2 financial enterprises. Monitor DeFi projects actively collaborating with Web2 financial firms, such as Acala Network's partnership with U.S.-based Web2 financial leader Current.
