TechFlow News — Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Entertainment Holdings, the largest movie theater operator in the United States, tweeted, "We now accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin for online payments, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, which already account for 14% of our total online transactions—next up is Dogecoin."

In September, Adam Aron posted a Twitter poll asking whether Dogecoin should be accepted as a payment method, drawing participation from 140,000 voters, with 77% voting in favor. In October, AMC began partnering with BitPay to allow Dogecoin payments for gift cards.
