TechFlow News — The Poly Network team has released the latest update regarding the recent attack incident, as follows:
1. USDT Unlocking Status
We would like to clarify the progress regarding the unlocking of USDT assets for the public. To ensure transparency, we have summarized all actions related to USDT assets in hopes of reducing confusion. We have maintained close communication with Tether and followed their official procedures accordingly. On the evening of August 19, Tether confirmed the final resolution approach with us.
2. USDC Asset Recovery Completed
As previously announced, we completed the conversion between the 96,942,063 DAI and USDC returned by the white-hat individual before 00:00 UTC on August 23. Additionally, the 87,557,051 BUSD on BSC have been converted into USDC (BEP-20). The user asset reconciliation and restoration for USDC are now complete. Slippage losses and transaction fees incurred during these operations have been compensated using Poly Network’s own funds. Poly Network has made every effort to restore USDC assets in the shortest possible time. For the specific reopening time of the USDC cross-chain pool, please refer to the O3 Swap announcement.
3. Cross-Chain Bridge Service Restoration
Poly Bridge has restored cross-chain functionality for the following additional assets: $BLES, $CFB, $DAI, $DFC, $ETH, $PRY, $SBC, $USDC, $USDT, $WBTC. So far, cross-chain functionality has been restored for a total of 54 assets. For security reasons, Poly Bridge will gradually reopen cross-chain services for various assets. After a project team submits an application and successfully completes testing, users will be able to freely conduct cross-chain transactions for that asset. Project teams can submit applications via this channel (see link below) >>>[Original Link]
