TechFlow News – According to official updates, BSC yield aggregator Merlin Lab has announced its shutdown. The team advised users to withdraw funds from the platform and refrain from purchasing its tokens. The website will remain operational until all users have sufficient time to safely withdraw their assets. Currently, Merlin Lab's Twitter account has been deactivated. On May 26, Merlin Lab was hacked; then on June 29, it suffered another attack. PeckShield Alert warned that this hack originated from a logic vulnerability in MerlinStrategyAlpacaBNB, where the contract mistakenly treated WBNB transfers made by beneficiaries as mining rewards, causing the contract to mint additional MERL tokens as rewards.
