TechFlow News — According to an official announcement, Celer Network, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling project, has partnered with zero-knowledge proof research firm StarkWare. The two parties will leverage StarkWare’s Cairo programming language to develop a ZK Rollup version of the Layer2.finance scaling solution. Last week, Celer launched version 0.1 of Layer2.finance on the Ethereum mainnet, which currently operates based on Optimistic Rollup. Following this collaboration, they will build a ZK Rollup version for Layer2.finance, with StarkWare utilizing its StarkNet network and Celer’s State Guardian Network (SGN) as the decentralized operating layer for the ZK Rollup-based Layer2.finance. The initiative is expected to launch as early as later this summer.
