TechFlow News — The genesis block of the pre-deployment network for privacy-preserving AI computing network PlatON has been created and block production has begun, marking the official initiation of the mainnet launch process. PlatON stated that guided by the principle of decentralization as its fundamental operational philosophy, the mainnet release will strictly follow a community-driven model. The PlatON mainnet will only be officially launched after the community completes acceptance testing of the pre-deployment network and approves it through voting.
Following the release of the pre-deployment network, final audits and the initial distribution of LAT tokens will proceed in phases. Meanwhile, the LatticeX Foundation will invite approximately one thousand community contributors to participate in comprehensive community acceptance testing. Upon completion of this process, a on-chain vote will determine whether the pre-deployment network is approved to become the PlatON mainnet. After voting ends on April 30 at 12:29 PM, if the approval rate exceeds 50%, the vote passes and the current pre-deployment network will become the PlatON mainnet. If the approval rate does not exceed 50%, the vote fails, and a new round of pre-deployment, community acceptance, and voting will be scheduled at a later date.
