TechFlow News — Official update: Ethereum developer Tim Beiko stated that, given the "difficulty bomb" could go off in July, there is hope to launch Ethereum Improvement Proposal EIP-1559 during the "London" fork at that time. If EIP-1559 is to be launched via the "London" fork in July, the initial EIP selection and testnet trials would need to begin in March, final EIP selection along with benchmark testing and conclusion of testnet trials in April, block selection and completion of "London" testing in May, testnet deployment in June, and mainnet launch in July.
