TechFlow news: Nikita Zhavoronkov, lead developer at blockchain search and analytics platform Blockchair, tweeted that "at some point, Ethereum developers made changes to the code, causing a split starting from block 11234873 (07:08 UTC). Many parties, including Blockchair, Infura, and some miners, had not yet upgraded, leaving them stuck on the minority chain (30 blocks over two hours). Technically, this was an undocumented hard fork, similar to what happened with Bitcoin seven years ago when the database was upgraded. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by upgrading geth and running debug.setHead."
