TechFlow News — According to OKEx's initial announcement on its official website, a responsible party holding partial private keys for OKEx is currently cooperating with public security authorities in an investigation and has become unreachable, resulting in the inability to complete authorization procedures. Per Section 8.1 "Service Changes and Interruptions" of the Terms of Service, OKEx reserves the right to modify service content and/or interrupt, suspend, or terminate services at any time without prior notice. To maximize protection of users' interests, OKEx decided to suspend user withdrawals starting from 15:00 on October 16, 2020. All other functions remain normal, and user assets are secure. According to subsequent announcements, the suspension of withdrawals was brought forward to 12:00 and then 11:00 on October 16, 2020, after which withdrawals were no longer possible.
