TechFlow news, on August 12, the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court held a press conference to mark the third anniversary of Guangzhou courts' implementation of the lawyer investigation order system and the official launch of the "Blockchain Lawyer Investigation Order" platform.
Leveraging existing achievements in Guangzhou’s smart court initiative and combining them with practical needs of lawyer investigation orders, the Guangzhou Intermediate Court has utilized blockchain technology—known for its tamper-proof data, traceable processes, and smart contract execution—to develop and launch an online "Blockchain Lawyer Investigation Order" processing platform. This platform is the first in China to enable full-process online handling of lawyer investigation orders using blockchain technology.
Compared to traditional paper-based lawyer investigation orders, the "Blockchain Lawyer Investigation Order" platform offers four key advantages: more efficient circulation, easier processing, more secure evidence collection, and safer operation.
