TechFlow news — Today, it was reported that Yang Haipo, founder of ViaBTC, will initiate another fork of BCH, with the new forked chain's code being BCC.
Railway Tracker, Product Operations Lead at BCH.Club, revealed in a community group: "Friends close to ABC and BCHN say there has been some misunderstanding between the two development teams, but currently both sides are exercising restraint and have no intention to fork. Earlier this year, Yang Haipo, founder of CoinEx & ViaBTC, announced in the community his plan to fork a new coin called Bitcoin Cat. The algorithm and project details remain unknown, but Yang himself stated there will be replay protection. I consider it a safe fork—in my view, it's essentially a meme coin or candy token."
Tracy Chen, representative of Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN), promptly responded: "BCHN is not involved in any project to create a new cryptocurrency. Of course, if others wish to proceed independently, we respect that."
