According to an official announcement from Ant Sales Pre-sales on July 23, around 10,000 mining machines托管 by Inner Mongolia Maker Cloud Computing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bitmain Group, at a mining facility in Zhenglan Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, were illegally transferred by former employees Ren Gang and Wang Wei from the company's mining center between the evening of July 15 and July 16, 2020. The company has reported the incident to relevant authorities and filed a police report. The whereabouts of the involved mining machines remain unknown, and the company is making every effort to recover them. The illegally transferred machines were all Antminers, including S17 Pro, S17, T17, S15, T15, S9 Hydro series, Z11 series miners, as well as other small-coin miners and internal testing prototypes.
