TechFlow news — On the morning of July 16, according to foreign media reports, after suffering a large-scale hacking attack, Twitter appears to have completely disabled the ability for some accounts to send new tweets.
In this incident, several high-profile accounts were affected, including those belonging to Barack Obama, Elon Musk, Joe Biden, and Bill Gates, all of which were taken over by hackers who posted content promoting Bitcoin scams.
The official Twitter account stated that some users may indeed be unable to tweet at the moment. The company added that they are actively working to resolve the issue, during which time the password reset function might also be temporarily disabled. Twitter said: "We're currently reviewing and fixing the issue, and during this time you may be unable to post tweets or reset your password."
