According to TrustNodes, MakerDAO's DAI currently holds approximately 5,000 bitcoins, worth about $45 million. The Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN), despite being hailed as the solution to all of Bitcoin's problems, holds only 1,000 bitcoins, worth around $9 million. Even Aave, which launched just a few weeks ago, holds more bitcoin than the Lightning Network.
