According to a July 13 report by the Economic Daily, in the first half of this year, multiple provincial-level regions—including Beijing, Hunan, Guizhou, Hainan, Jiangsu, and Hebei—have introduced special development policies for blockchain technology. In terms of development goals, many regions have outlined short-term objectives for blockchain advancement. Industry insiders view Beijing's blockchain policy as a bellwether for the sector, given its status as the nation's political center and a pioneer in blockchain development. Most regions that have launched dedicated blockchain development policies have put forward clear development plans. For instance, regarding enterprise cultivation, Guizhou stated it aims to attract and nurture over 100 growth-oriented blockchain enterprises. Notably, all six provinces and municipalities have identified multiple application areas and scenarios for blockchain implementation, covering finance, manufacturing, people's livelihoods, government services, and telecommunications. Compared to other fields, e-government has drawn particular attention and is featured in the development plans of all these regions.
