Sources say the company's valuation could reach up to $5 billion, with a Nasdaq listing currently the preferred option.
TechFlow reports, July 24, according to CoinDesk, institutional crypto trading platform LMAX Group is evaluating strategic options with Morgan Stanley and investment bank KBW, including a sale, SPAC merger, and an IPO in the US or Europe. Sources said the company's valuation could reach up to $5 billion, with a Nasdaq listing currently being the preferred option.
The report stated that LMAX has no urgent listing plans, as its core forex business provided performance support during weak crypto market conditions. Over the past year, LMAX has continued to expand business connections between traditional finance and digital assets, including launching a multi-asset exchange supporting 24/7 trading of tokenized assets and traditional assets.
